IF YOU'RE IN CRISIS

What to do if you are in an immediate crisis:

There are three things you can do right now if you are feeling extremely depressed, afraid that you might harm yourself or someone else, feel completely overwhelmed by a crisis, feel suicidal, or think that you need psychiatric help immediately:

1. Go to your local hospital emergency room

2. Call 911

3. Call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline
   at: 1-800-273-8255

They are equipped to handle a wide range of calls. Reasons to call them could be: you are feeling suicidal, you are worried that you may be in danger of hurting yourself or someone else, you're concerned about someone else who may be suicidal, you need to speak to a crisis worker who is caring and can help, or to find mental health services in your local area.

~ Please do not wait if you need immediate help ~

You can talk to someone now by calling 911, going to the emergency room of the nearest hospital, or calling the Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
